Rickie Krabe died this morning, after dealing with COVID for the past month or so.

Worked with the guy for years, he was a PC seems like since forever.?ÿ 2nd generation Austin surveyor and as surveyor a surveyor as a surveyor can get.?ÿ Loved his wife, loved his softball, loved his golf, loved his kids and his grandkids.?ÿ Seeing the sheer volume of and quality of condolences today reminds me of just how good a guy Rick is.

RIP, Rick.

@bryan-newsome

he worked for bury for over 30 years.?ÿ you'll see his last name spread over decades' worth of field books down at the city- that was his dad.?ÿ he grew up in oak hill and worked for and ran with metcalfes and had stories about all the old haunts, ball fields, and ghosts of austin past.?ÿ one of the most austin people i've ever met.
