I worked for/with Pete from September 2000 to April 2002. It was a short time in which I learned a great deal, became involved in TAPS as a newly licensed surveyor, and started the portion of my career as a licensed surveyor. He was a good man.

Charles ‰ÛÏPete‰Û William Arney

Passed away January 2, 2017. He was born in Morgantown, North Carolina on November 1, 1946. Pete was 70 years old and had been sick for several years. He joined the military at 19 years old and served his country proudly and honorably in Vietnam. Pete was lucky enough to meet and marry his soulmate Sandy, they were married for 43 years. Pete did not want a funeral and Sandy respected his wishes. Many surveyor‰Ûªs count Pete as a mentor and teacher. He spoke his mind and if you wanted to know the truth the person to ask was Pete.

We will be celebrating Pete's life on January 12, 2017 at 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a wake at Tony‰Ûªs Trophy Room (used to be the Abblebee's Restaurant) in Collierville, Tn. The address is:

929 W Poplar Ave

Collierville, TN 38017

We invite you to join us to swap stories, have a few drinks and/or eat and to honor Pete‰Ûªs life.
