The company I work for recently bought a drone with a photogrammetry lens and a LiDAR. I am currently looking for the most preferred software for post processing our LiDAR data. I've been looking into ArcGIS, Carlson, and one named LiDAR360. Could you recommend a software that is somewhat user friendly, as I am going to have to learn a new interface while getting the project done. I need to get a dsm, contours and depending on the project, planimetric topo. And something that I can export a CAD deliverable.
For the Photogrammetry lens I am just using Pix4D to process and exporting to CAD
we have a Zenmuse L1 and P1

When you say "post-processing" are you talking about processing the raw data (GNSS+IMU trajectory, clipping turns, MTA analysis, etc.) or are you talking about classification and extraction?
@rover83 I apologize for the super late reply. Been home with a sick baby this past week.
Classification and vectorization, creating a dtm, creating linework for all infrastructure.?ÿ
The only other option I could imagine is exporting my las or laz file to CAD and then overlaying a ortho image to start drawing up edge of pavement and all that.

I am currently using DJI terra to process my raw data, but DJI Terra only has some measurement tools and that's about it.
Thanks for the help
I use
Global Mapper for open terrain.
TopoDot for detailed features with lots of curb and buildings.?ÿ
Pix4D Survey is a kinda in-between the two above.?ÿ
@leegreen Thanks.
I am currently on a Pix4d survey and I think it's tedious to mark something (example: a water valve) then look at several pictures and adjust the placement of my marker based off those photos. Then if I want to create a polyline for a back of curb, it makes it a much longer process to assure my polyline is in the correct place v.s drawing over a surface and ortho image. I've only seen videos on their website, and they don't get too much into tackling something like that.?ÿ
Seems as if pix4d has low quality image processing or something, I'm not sure how to describe it. Ortho looks great, point cloud not so much.?ÿ
3DSurvey could be an option. I've used it for Photogrammetry only so far. They have a great CAD tool, LIDAR integration, DTM, contour lines.
Definitely worth checking out.
