I am looking for some advice/tips/suggestions on the easiest/best way to clean up a DSM I have been provided that was generated from aerial photography.

I have AutoCAD Civil 3D 2015, [REDACTED] v15.0, and ArcMap 10.0 at my disposal.

The DSM was generated by Pix4D and I have received a geotiff and also a .laz file that represent the surface as generated from the software from the aerials.

To just generate contours from the DSM creates contour lines on non-terrain items, such as trucks in the parking lot. What I am trying to do is to clean a few of these things up.

Civil 3D is the program I am the most familiar with, but it seems to get really bogged down with the dense data of the geotiff or lidar point file.

Any suggestions or advice is appreciated in a way to streamline this process.
Thanks in advance for any help!!
