If I wasn't so busy, I would have invented this.
Inventing that would be easy. Building it would be hard...?ÿ?ÿ?ÿ?ÿ and fun!
Reminds me of the old plumber story about how tough it was back in the "good old days" for plumbers.?ÿ They would let the plumber assemble the first ten lengths of pipe and then turn on the water.?ÿ He had to add more lengths faster than the water could get there.
Imagine being the poor pick swinger working below water level on both ends of the tunnel.
He had to add more lengths faster than the water could get there.
Sounds like how the rodmen used to get worked in the good old days of surveying.
I would build the top half of the tunnel all the way thru, staying about 10 ft above sea level. Then start in the middle working toward the ends taking out the remainder of the rock leaving a bench on each side for an access road.
This was my idea!!
I was envisioning workers experiencing the same fate as the Egyptian soldiers following Moses and the Israelites across the Red Sea.
I see we??ve been out drinkin?? with TDD again, haven??t we? ?????ÿ
Bonus.?ÿ Unlike road tunnels, you don't have to worry if it leaks.
Meanwhile, in the Suez:
If you look closely at the bow of the vessel, there's an excavator having a nibble at the bank.
I hate it when I'm driving my cargo boat and that happens.
@bstrand?ÿ?ÿ If you zoom in real close to the stern it says "My other boat is a Vortex 2430 VRX"
Maybe if they had a few less containers, they could see where they were going.?ÿ
Saw a photo claiming to show who was at the helm when this happened.?ÿ I'm not going to say who it was, though.
I just saw a news flash that states the ship is dislodged and floating.?ÿ Now all they have to do is get it out of there without running aground again....
DAMMIT!?ÿ I was caching toilet paper and Coffee to take on the impending doom of the scarcirty hording....?ÿ?ÿ DAMMITT!!!!
