I went quail hunting on Wednesday and today I'm cooking them up. Quail smothered in gravy, rice, stewed spinach and biscuits. I may not make it to my normal bed time tonight. They ALREADY smell good.

Gordon ....

"Sockeye" aka Red Salmon, best eatin' of the species. Tonight is fresh halibut and moose roast. Halibut from a buddy in Homer and the moose is one my daughter shot last fall.

Mexican Flounder dipped in whipped egg wash, then dredged in a corn meal/seasoned bread crumbs mixture. flash fried to a golden brown, with lemon and tarter sauce. steamed asparagus on side.
