It's amazing how much information and experience is collected here on this site. You can ask a question and get several answers within a few minutes. It's still nice to pick up the phone and call other surveyors for local questions, but I use this site for an increasing number of things all the time. Thanks Wendell

Not having this site would be.............well.................uh.................downright terrible. We all learn something almost every day we check in. Most of it is directly tied to land surveying. Some of it is like hanging out around the water cooler in a big office despite the fact that many of us have very little experience with water coolers and big offices. We feel like we are friends (or combatants) with all sorts of people all over the world. The range of knowledge, experience and opinions is unmatched.

I was the same way when I was solo, and still check in several times a day now that I am back in the corporate world. This place is invaluable.

The proof in the pudding of just how great this site has become was the thread earlier this week by Peter Ehlert seeking more and more specific questions on a tract in Hawaii...............and getting tremendous assistance. Wow! Just, wow!
I do not have anything of substance to add to this post. I am a full time lurker and a seldom time poster, but I absolutely am convinced that this site makes me a better, more thoughtful surveyor. I really appreciate the incredible knowledge and varied topics available daily on this site! Thanks not only to Wendell and Angel for hosting this great forum, but also to all of the regular posters who freely share their knowledge and thoughts.

Very true Mr. Cow. My kids have one less thing to think about, and I got some continuing education to boot.

BTW: this place is easy to find on a web search, lots of people see what we post that are Not members of the community (my son-in-law followed the thread and he was very impressed with the quick response and offers of help)
