I'm not sure what you mean by this post, but just as an aside, let's examine the origin of the term "sneaker."

Edit: I'm sorry, now I understand. You just got some new (very spiffy, I must say) sneakers. I wish I had some as nice as those.
nothing beats a pair of new kicks, but you gotta splurge and get some new socks at the same time or they just don't feel quite right.

My last pair of these almost lasted 4 full years.
I purchased a pair of those back in Feb or March (mine are white). I walk and/or jog 3-5 miles a day in them, great shoes. I also got the high arch inserts and change them out every 3 months or so... makes a difference.

There are the 'thing' right now for kids (sizes start at 3.5). $75 + tax is a lot of money for kids shoes but all the kids want them and grow out of them quickly.
The kids that I see with them are always picking gravel from between the ridges on the sole. Bad design. My kid is wearing the Reebok solarvibe to school. We found a pair here at Rack Room at discount for $22.50. He loves them.

in an 8 1/2 EEEE? I can only find tennis shoes (sneakers?) that fit from Newbalance. I get laughed at in shoe stores when I ask for my size.
