It's 5 O'clock somewhere?ÿ
Do other states have monuments similar to this:
Extra points if you can tell me where this is?ÿ
The second one is in the correct location.?ÿ Here's the story.

That is not occupying a monument, that is mounting a monument. ??¯
That's a photo straight from a couple of sites I googled for that particular corner. You couldn't pay me enough to try to do what that guy is doing. One slip and you wouldn't be able to work for six months.
I've been there too, three times...but here is the SW corner of Missouri about 50 or so miles south. Stone on top of that monument was the original corner set by Joseph C. Brown. Modern corner is across the street set by MO DNR seems to not agree with a local.

All of these pictures, of corners of states, are nice; but what about monuments memorializing great places of early settlement? The photo I posted commemorates the 1853 site of Camp Montgomery, along the Naches branch of the Oregon trail.
Do all y'all have monuments like this?
Dougie
Does nobody know where this is?
Does photo #1 count? Can't get any earlier settlement than #3 anywhere near here. For those who continue, #4 may be upsetting.

@mike-berry Oh man...I know I started this thread...I hate myself for it. I would move out there tonight.
Thanks
Never get tired of seeing this mountain?ÿ
Worked our way up a steep slope today?ÿ
