Who & When Will We Hit 500,000 Posts?

I will occasionally post post counts, but since I just did that this morning, you'll have to rely on the stats bar at the bottom of the forum pages until the next update. 🙂

It appears we rolled over to 498.900 posts within the past few minutes if that helps anyone with their guesses.

500000 posts in 10 yrs is something like 135 posts per day. Many more on weekdays than on weekends . So Iƒ??d say 8 days from now. Wednesday the 14th at 9:22 pm.

I figger it will go down something like this:

At 2 AM local time Wendell will mention to his sleeping wife (as he climbs in bed) that the 500K will probably occur before he wakes up.?ÿ It's only a few posts away, and depending on how many early rising posters there are on the east coast there will probably be a "winner"...

Angel (feigning sleep) waits for Wendell and the cat's breathing to subside to slumber mode.?ÿ She then quietly gets up, logs on, and proceeds to post a rash of entries ensuring the coveted "half-mil" post is hers.

It could happen...

I have no goal of being #500,000 but am trying to speed things along before the thrill of the chase wears off.

Seems to me that there have been a lot more posts in various categories lately compared to even a month ago. Maybe a cabin fever effect? It looks now like my guess as to the date will be a few days too late.

Just curious. Did you have DNA tests done for your kids? I have three and didn't check any of them.

They all look like me.?ÿI mean, there's no Ferd Burffle in this Fanny Farkle family.

But your point is well taken. Just can't be 100% positive.
