My sister's husband's son's wife's cousin's grandfather's neighbor was a land surveyor whose greatgrandson lived down the road from the grandson of the toupee maker who fitted Lorne Greene, Dan Blocker and Pernell Roberts who worked with Michael Landon whose daughter's former boyfriend's son was an extra (dead guy) on Grey's Anatomy.

Katherine Heigl stars in both GA and a movie called "Love Comes Softly". LCS was written and directed by Michal Landon Jr. and has a LHOTP-ish setting and plot. Not sure what the surveying connection is though.

The connection to surveying is that Joshua Michael Kwiat plays a surveyor in the movie. Not sure if there is any "love" interest between characters but I'll guess yes.

Here's what we were looking for...

The LHOTP connection is Michael Landon, Jr. He directed the "Loves Enduring Promise" movie. His father was Michael Landon, who acted and directed LHOTP.

The Greys Anatomy connection is Katherine Heigl. She is one of the stars in "Loves Enduring Promise".

The surveying connection is this: The daughter of "Marty & Clark", "Missie" (January Jones), gets courted by a Railroad Surveyor. If anyone has seen this movie, you would have noticed that there were plenty of surveying connections & references throughout the movie. In the beginning of the movie they show "Grant" looking through the surveying transit to look at Missie. Hence where some of the screen shots came from.

I just happened to be watching this series last weekend on the Hallmark Channel and thought HEY...SURVEYING!!!...HUMMM...and told Wendell who agreed with me that this one would be a good one to post for a contest.

It was much harder to figure this one out than the LHOTP "Surveyors House" contest. 🙂

Anyhow...
