The final round of our March Madness 2011 contest is almost upon us. We have tallied the entries from this thread and there are 14 people moving on to the final round, as listed below.

As you can see, there are a couple of possible ties in the mix. If UConn wins by 11 or 6, a tie-breaker drawing will be required. Otherwise, there should be a distinct winner.

Dagnabit. Normally when I want a team to win, the best way to insure that is to vote for the other team.
Well, how about that. Deral is actually in the running on a sports poll. That's a first. I figure Butler will sneak out the win by going for two instead of the extra point kick in a close overtime game. Yep, that Deral is a basketball genius.
now, since I picked 11 first, I think that I should win if it's 11!!!
However, how about an opportunity for those that are in a tying position to change their guess?

Gees... maybe I should gotten in on this if I'd known there would be a consolation prize. I don't know doodley squat about football except from what you all talk about. All I could do would be mention some school names and all that would is piss off half of you and the other half might say "good pick". I wouldn't know the difference.

Congratulations to the winner.
I don't know if any of you listen to Mike and Mike (ESPN radio), but they had one of their sound guy's mother fill out a bracket just for fun because she was from England and drunk, and had no idea what the tourney was all about or which teams were good...etc.
What was susposed to be funny, turned out to be almost 100% correct. She had UConn beating Butler in the championship game 53-39. She made the picks before the first game was ever played...about a one in ten million chance.

Whenever we have a tie, I always make sure even those that do not win in the tie breaker get a consolation prize. Just my way of showing kindness and making sure no one in a tie breaker goes away empty handed. (Or just call me sucker!!) 😛
