Good day fellow Surveyors,
I'm joining this network from Pietermaritzburg in South Africa's KwaZulu-Natal Province.
I started my career with the Surveyor-General: KwaZulu-Natal, and then went on to study land surveying (BSc Geomatics) at the University of Cape Town, followed by a masters in Town Planning. I currently work in private practice.

@dougie No, not quite. It was heavyequipmentforum.com, sjoe, about 15 years ago, and which I think is still extant. I think I was trying to say that I was surprised to find a forum that was still alive in the age of social media etc!
