On Tuesday February 28 one of our crews in Miami FL had a company vehicle broken it to and the following equipment stolen.

Trimble R10 SN 5551450111

Miami? Never see it again, it is probably out of the country already! I feel your pain...I lost an R10 to theft last August.

For what it's worth, I believe there is a VERY organised crime ring running down there.
A well organised sting operation is NEEDED.
I doubt it that certian local police will help... They are in on it.
They "steal to order". They have standing "orders" for r10's.
The street guy does not make alot.
It's well organised.
Watch "bait car" on youtube. You'll get the idea.
I even suspect some surveyors are in on it. Some surveyors, that even "lost their equipment".
They get to do this, once or twice, on insurance.
It's a "big game" to them.
Somehow, I think you already know everything I just said.
