Welcome!?ÿ ?ÿYou should find valuable information here on this site, and some that may not apply to you.?ÿ

I have travelled to Bhutan as a tourist in 2005.?ÿ ?ÿI wish you best of health in avoiding the COVID-19 virus, we have heard it is getting very widespread there.?ÿ My wife and I were contemplating a trip there late this year but have deferred it for another time due to the virus risk.?ÿ?ÿ

Welcome Ghalley. Bhutan is high on my list of countries to visit for so many reasons. I have spent time in the Himalayas in Kashmir, N. India and Nepal. What are some of the survey related challenges that surveyors face there and what type works are they involved in? I imagine the Rhododendron trees will be in bloom there soon.

Cheers!

Good to see someone from your part of the world on this site.?ÿƒ??Kuzu zangpo laƒ?

Are you teaching at?ÿJigme Namgyel Polytechnic, Royal University of Bhutan?

I wonder if your University is doing any work to monitor geophysical changes? In that regard, have your seen this article in EOS: https://eos.org/science-updates/bhutan-earthquake-opens-doors-to-geophysical-studies

Like many, I would like to visit your country. ?ÿ

Welcome, Ghalley.?ÿ This place is both educational and fun.?ÿ Please share frequently about your experiences.

This site is an encyclopedia on survey by using the "Search" function.?ÿ There are a few thousand different topics that have already been discussed and many have come up quite a number of times.

@ghalley our country is doing well.?ÿ I am in Alaska, as of now, our population in this State is approximately 45% vaccinated, and our total death toll is under 400, and we have had about 3,300 total reported cases.
