Hey guys, glad to become a member here. I have been following the page for several years and back reading a lot of threads. Usually there wasn't much I could add or contribute, but I read a post this morning and thought I could help a guy out.

I have been in the engineering field ten yrs or so, testing/inspection. I had completed a community college degree in 07, at age 41, that included the necessary hours of credit to allow me to sit for the FS, but the experience never came. I was finally able to move into the survey department a little over three yrs ago and sat for the FS on Friday the 13th, 13 days ago. My new lucky day.

I look forward to more great posts and information from you all.

@holy-cow

Not far, I'm about 40 miles north of an east-west line that would cut off the boot heel.

An engineer I worked with for over a decade now works for a firm on the north side of Cape Girardeau.
