Long time practitioner, first time poster.

I'm Matt from Pennsylvania and have been surveying for about the last 20 years. It is a pleasure to find others who enjoy the profession and ennoy helping others.

So, tell us a bit about yourself. What game do you play? What kind of equipment do you use today? Did you start with? And, what type of surveys do you primarily do?

Hey Nate,

As far as a game, I like cards against humanity. Fun game! but back to surveying.

I am currently using an Trimble S6 with vision and running access on a TSC3. I originally started with a Trimble pro/xr gps system but graduated later to the topcon 3B with an
hp-48. I once saw a chain and even own a plumb bob. Most of the work that I perform today is Alta but I have been fortunate to experience most applications of traditional survey practices.
