Well after eight years working for a large municipality's WWTP as a water pollution control inspector I've been lured back into the field and I couldn't be more excited.

So I will be lurking around trying to get back up to speed on things.

Cheers,

G

The healthiest people on Earth are WWTP workers, I have met a bunch and they are never sick. Maybe you should stop by and visit the old workplace a few times a month to keep the old immune system boosted.

Did a pretty intensive survey of a local wwtp a few years ago. The staff had a shaded picnic table they used for lunch and you could literally set your drink on the parapet to the huge Parshall flume right there at the intake. I never could quite get used to the spray and the roar...although the operators likened it to "sea spray" at the ocean.....

How do you get lured into the waste water deal in the first place? Just looking for things to watch out for so I don't fall for that. 😀

Just got back into the field as well. Been about 13 or so years for me. Got back into it last October, 2015. Missed it, love my job. I'm I Jersey and I didn't forget a thing. Hope you have the same luck.

After keeping tabs on the elusive, non-endangered "Brown Darter" for eight years, I'd be ready for the field too!

Welcome to your new home away from home. 😎

If you recall 2007 things got really slow and we were heavy into new residential projects. I just ran out of work.

The sewer never stops. 😉
