Someone here accused you of stealing it? I saw that way longer than the internet has been around. In fact if you google surveyor and look at the pictures its in the top 120

Don't worry about it.
With one exception, down Texas way, we are all pretty laid back around here.
Welcome to the party.
I noticed the dual avatars earlier in the day, no big
Most everybody changes their thru time. I found myself using anothers one day and simply found a new one
I'd use a selfie but it would crack too many monitors.....
Great to hear you are part of the group. Now, if you could impart the wisdom that you accumulated over the years to us surveyors still in practice (especially to us in Florida). Were you a business owner?

I dont know about the wisdom part;-) but yes I was a partner in Consul-Tech Enterprises and President of Consul-Tech Surveying and Mapping. Consul-tech Enterprises was comprised of 4 seperate firms( Consul-Tech Surveying and Mapping," " Engineering, " "Transportation and " " Construction Mgmt. I spent a good part of my career out of the Orlando office. And yourself? I see youre from North Central Fla. Maybe we know each other?

No one accused you of stealing anything.
You just accused yourself.

Im Guilty Dave Maybe we can move on now You might even like me if you get to know me. Thanks everyone for the warm welcome
I'm not sure if we have ever met, but I have heard of Consul-Tech. My real name is Cary Melvin. I am a 2nd generation surveyor and a graduate of the University of Florida Geomatics program. I was a mid-level corporate surveyor that mainly just dealt with technical issues, but got burned out on that a few years ago and decided to go solo. I can't say that I have been all that successful thus far, but it is educational.
