The new layout is gone and messages posted yesterday are gone as well. Temporary setback, or was the new stuff just not ready for prime time?
The site was just down too long and I gave up. I will go back and work some more on making it all work and possibly try again in the future when I have more confidence.

that's got to be frustrating. Thanks for your efforts.
The new system really is a MUCH better system, layout, and consistency, but there are just so many moving parts that it's hard to foresee what the future will bring in such a big upgrade.
It also doesn't help when you get screwed over by a third-party that doesn't live up to their end of the bargain and doesn't communicate worth a crap.
I think most of us realize how complicated code can be and how easy it is to implement something you didn't count on that ends up making you chase it for a while. If it were easy, we would all be experts.
It was like the perfect storm -- actually, more like the perfect culmination of many storms that all came together at the same time. It wasn't just a software issue, it wasn't just a hardware issue, and it wasn't just a service provider issue -- it was all of those things and then other crap thrown on top for good measure.
