A short while ago I had a post listed at the top of the recent postings window that said it was posted yesterday before the thread even started. It was for the "Open their Eyes" post by Mr Purvis. when I picked it, a new window opened wanting me to take a survey with prizes and such. It said SurveyorConnect across the top.
Is this legitimate?

I just scanned the website using 3 different scanners and found nothing. It sounds to me like some sort of malware has infected your system and hijacked your browser. I would highly recommend that you scan thoroughly with your antivirus program, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and maybe even do a little housekeeping with CCleaner.

If you scan your system and find nothing. your next step will be to check your router/switch - there is malware now that can infect those devices and perform re-directs from behind your firewall.

Super Anti-spyware blows Malware away. I had been using Malware for some time and still got hacked. I ran Super Anti and it found about 20 things right away.
Dittos on CCcleaner. I run it often.
REmember to run a scan and defrag now and then. In fact I need to do that now.
