I have a nice collection of photos stored in my computer as My Pictures. How the heck do I insert one of those into a thread? I don't have a URL per se. Do you understand my poorly worded question? In the past I would hit Upload, then search for my specific photo from My Pictures, pick it and boom.
Well; that was easy....
What you do; is click on the upload a file, lower right, then go find it.

Click the "Upload a File" button directly under the editor box.
I was able to drag a jpg from a Windows Explorer window, and drag an image from an email message (Outlook). When I dragged in the jpg, I got prompted to insert a thumbnail or full image (or delete). Once I selected an option, the image showed up in the message.
I was not able to drag in a bmp, but it was over 3mb. Perhaps [USER=1]@Wendell[/USER] can give a list of allowed image types and permitted attachments? AND, according to the "Upload a File" button (thanks Wendell!), the allowed types are zip, txt, pdf, png, jpg, jpeg, jpe, gif, dwg.
What and where do I find the editor box to look beneath for the insert option? Slow learner I guess.
It's one of those, "Oh, *there* it is" things. (I've had it happen to me quite a bit). Below where this message, or whatever message is the latest in this thread, you should see your avatar to the left of...an editor box aka where you write a reply. At the lower right is a Post Reply button. Next to it are the Upload a File and More Options buttons.

THE EDITOR BOX IS WHERE YOU TYPE THE TEXT OF YOUR POST- UNDER IT - TO THE RIGHT ARE 3 BOXES - POST REPLY, UPLOAD A FILE- MORE OPTIONS-
