I figured out how to turn off the politics category . Nice change and I will not participate in that nonsense again .
Going out to Topo a nice open field in 70 degree weather . Glad to be a Surveyor. B-)

The difference with P&R vs without P&R is remarkable. Much nicer place without, imho.

Well, first off, just because it's turned on doesn't mean you have to click on it and read it.

Secondly, some people are so predictable you know what they're going to say without even reading it.

Third, good for you - that's your choice.

Fourth, if you can't keep from clicking it when it's on then you must have very little self control.

And finally fifth, I get some of my best laughs in P&R - just take it with a grain of salt. Remember it's just the inane comments of a bunch of (me included here) idiot surveyors that think too much of themselves. And many of them take themselves too seriously.

Turn it back on and just think of it as an extension of humor.

I now do the same thing, just read for entertainment. I might post something quick but I'm trying to avoid responding as much as possible!

I have too much fun giving others a hard time to leave it off all the time. But I do leave it off at least 90%.

So You've Popped the Chute

Who can blame you? One can only take so much abuse and it's only going to get worse as Election Day approaches. 😀

Some people can get so wrapped up in politics that they forget to live their life.

For some people, Politics and/or Religion is/are their lives.....

A look at politics and religion as a means for someone else to hate you; just because of the way you think. Most, if not all of us, think that what we do and how we do it is perfectly acceptable; when there are people in this world who think it appalling and will go to great lengths to let you know it. Some people are very passionate about it.

Finding the center is the key, but most refuse to go there; thus, the conflict.

The road to salvation is but the razors edge, few have traveled this path.

This may be the most sensible post regarding P&R I've ever seen posted on any forum anywhere.

Careful what you say about having fun giving others a hard time.

That is what I said and it got deleted.

Calm down. He was talking in general. You pointed your finger quite specifically.

Keith

While I am definitely of a conservative bent, I am also a registered Independent. I will take a poke at ANY political party or politician. B-)
