Trimble R4 using without controller

Hello everyone,

quick question : is it possible to record and transfer static data with trimble R4 without a controller?

For a mission, I might be able to carry a trimble R4 but without a controller (needed on another project).

What I want to do is use the trimble R4 set to record static data automatically on startup and then find a way to access and transfer that data from the rover to my computer?

Is it possible to access data from a computer using serial cable or bluetooth? do I need any kind of proprietary software to do so?
