Trimble R10 Issue

How many satellites are you getting on both units? Possibly a box is not checked to receive all of the available satellites.

That might be it. Unfortunately I wasn't in the field yesterday so not much trouble shooting was done

We have 2 R10 base/rover setups. We bought both used. One 15 months ago and the other about 7 months ago. Well yesterday we had both rovers on a job and using the older base to talk to each rover. Multiple times the newest rover would be fixed while the older one wouldn't and the rovers were within feet of each other...

Positional tolerances are set the same and we believe other settings are the same as well, but need to double check them later this week.

Anything we should be looking for before we get the tech guy on the phone or ship one of em off to be looked at?

Also look at correction data formats

And the firmware versions.

I'm betting they're going to tell you to cold boot the receivers. Make sure you have all of your data out of them. Sometimes they get gremlins in them and the cold boot does the trick.

Probably will have to cold boot the data collector as well. I'd try that before I called tech, but that's after calling tech support for 15 years. 🙂

Agree with Kris, the occasional hard boot will cure a lot of ills.
