Is there a list of receivers that can work with Trimble Access? I have Access 2015 on a tsc2 and want to use it on a 5800 or a 1st version r8 maybe but they may be too old. Thanks

Ah I found the list in the release notes, a 5800 is supported. I have looked around and have not been able to find very much info on the 5800 two does anyone here own one?

Yes. We use 5800, R8 model 1 (same as 5800) R83 and R84s. All work with access fine. A few years ago access started to recount the countdown everytime the precision set in survey style were exceeded. Annoying as hell with 5800s if you work near trees like we do. With GNSS receivers, it's not really an issue.

5800 II wasn't around all that long, it will work fine with Access, it treats them all the same.

I have some old equipment that I am trying to use to collect static data to be post processed at OPUS. I have 5800 and a TSCe data collector. The 5800 does not have an internal memory so I am unable to simply download a .dat file. Does anyone recall if it is possible to record data to a TSCe running survey pro 4.5.3 and then upload a file from this collector to be post processed. I have been able to record raw files to the TSCe from the 5800 by static collection. I just am not sure if this file, or another file option, is able to be uploaded to OPUS.
thank you in advance for any advice!
