Short version:
Did Trimble release firmware update to fix known date issue?
Long version:
I was looking on eBay because I was bored. Came across ad for trimble 4700 with "guaranteed working condition". Decided to see how much of a liar seller is, so asked if these are the trimble units with the date issue. They came back and said that due to outcry of users that Trimble fixed the issue and they work fine. I figure if anyone knows, this is the place to ask. Did Trimble release a patch to fix this?

Trimble has released a program, I believe, that fixes the date in the dat file. Same as my program does. In either case, once the week number is fixed in the dat file, the data is just fine. We use 4700's (I have 2) all the time and mix with 2 R8's, 2 R10's, and 2 5700's (one of the 5700's also has the date issue). No problems at all.
But they did NOT release a firmware fix.

So, is it just the 4700? Does the 4600 or the 4800 have the date issue?
