Never had an issue like this.
Got to the job and the base won??t turn on. I usually have it in zero power mode but the battery light flashes green. Hit the power button??nothing??hit reset??nothing. Only light blinking is the battery light. I??m in the field so I can??t hook it to the computer.
Any ideas on how to reset? I??ve tried several combinations. The only way I get a change is if I hold down the reset button, the battery light goes solid amber.

Try adding external power then turn on.
Just got back to the office and tried that. No response other than the battery light staying solid now. Weird thing is that the unit was hot like it had been trying to operate in the box. Called a tech and she thinks the battery has gone bad and might have fried the face plate.
I guess it??s time to upgrade. We only use them to get State Plane coordinates and it has worked perfectly for 20 years.
