We started having issues with our GR5 receiver a few weeks ago and was wondering if anyone could help me out?
I went to post-process a job and Topcon Tools gives an error and says ??can not process any of 3 vectors?. We have changed nothing as far as settings go. I was still able to send to OPUS and get a solution though.
Yesterday I updated to the most recent firmware thinking that might be the issue, but now I??m not able to log data with the base. An error comes up and says it wasn??t able log data. Any insight on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Mark, we are having same problem. Have you had any luck with a solution?
Is it possible it is related to this?

Sounds like something is up with Tools.
When there was suppose to be a leap second, a little over a month ago, we updated our firmware. We are using Hipir II's. We were unable to use them for RTK after we did this. We rolled back our firmware and everything was fine.

This is what I got from my Topcon dealer. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks like the same solution that others have found.
An issue has been identified when post processing raw data files in MAGNET Tools, Topcon Tools and Topcon Link. The ephemeris is not being processed from the raw *.tps data files which results in an incorrect timestamp. Also, If the raw data file is converted to RINEX, the navigation file which contains the ephemeris will be absent.
This issue will be addressed in an upcoming release of MAGNET products. A temporary workaround will be to use the raw data converter before importing filed into MAGENT Tools for post processing. The latest raw data converter can be found at

I tried this same thing as well, but it did not work with our GR5's for some reason.
