I responded last week to one question - I'm willing for the conversation to continue.
But, I was off-the-board over the weekend. My, my, take some time off and one gets behind very quickly. But, I'm off to Colorado on Tuesday (2/24) and will be back next week.
The suggestion to take the issue up with vendors was an excellent one. If anyone has suggestions, I'm listening.
I believe that there are examples posted on my web site that answer questions about distance, directions, and the like.
And, I have written up some commentary that may be of interest with regard to Low Distortion Projections and "larger" efforts to improve our collective efforts with regard to use of 3-D digital geospatial data.
