We have had increasing issues using this rover. We will occupy a point with it and get a fixed solution (using Carlson SurvPC). Later when we come back and set up on it with a total station while checking backsite to another GPS occupied point we'll find that we are off by 8-10' both horizontally and vertically. It doesn't happen every time and we've swapped out a Carlson GPS unit we have and don't see the issue at all. I don't believe it's the DC.
After checking the parameters in the unit itself I see that we do not have all of the frequencies turned on. Looking at the manual shows that there should be more available. Our reseller is telling me no but Sokkia Tech support is telling me that it should be capable of the newer frequencies (see the screenshots below).
Are any of you using this unit with the additional frequencies that we don't have?
