Changed the program. Because you could be in one of three time periods (week 0-1023 (unlikely, but possible), week 1024-2047, and after week 2048, I added an option box to manually select which time period, and it defaults to after 2048 (April 6/7 2019). The only time you need to change that is if you are converting an older file (i.e. March 23 2019). I will add a check of the current date to make it more automatic (i.e. can't convert to a date in the future), but for now this works as far as I can tell. I checked with a file from before the latest rollover and after, and they both worked. However, I only have 4700's, not sure if other receivers might behave differently.?ÿ

Please send feedback if you have any problems, my email is in the about dialog. Send any comments or suggestions as well.?ÿ

In the past I had a download link to the install program, however my web provider recently was sold, everything is different now, i need to figure out the new host formats to post the executable and installer there.?ÿ

The exe only (need to already have the program installed I believe) is located at:?ÿ

I am a small company, myself and one employee. I use my 4700's for static work when I want to leave receivers sitting all day and not worry too much about it disappearing. It's not like I have not kept up with the times and bought newer receivers, I have two R10's , two R8 Model 2's, two 5700's (one of which has the week problem), one R7, two 4700's, one 4400 (haven't used that in years), and a CHC X900-OPUS. But why throw away a receiver that is still working just fine??ÿ

The R10's and the R8's are the work horses, but the other receivers are often used for static. I bought the used R7 (with a Zephyr Geodetic 2) to serve as an RTK base for cell, but we usually use the one of the R10's for that.?ÿ

We have a couple of deformation projects that we do multiple times per year, and I like to use the same equipment on each point for every survey. There are two stations that get left out in publicly accessible areas (with 4700's), but nothing has ever disappeared there yet after 18 surveys.?ÿ?ÿ

Hello John:

This is Cash out in Idaho.  Hey I am so frickin' excited about your fixweek update I could just ....

If we could somehow penetrate the ftp site you posted and download it.  I have tried through various methods and systems, but the your server times out and will not let us in.  What is up with that.  I ran a third party ftp test which was able to get in using the information you provided us (which is the same as is posted here), but the test only is a test and is not functional for the objective use.  I see you may have changed your webserver or provider???

Look, I know you are probably driven crazy by my continuous contact.  No worries, I am already crazy.  However, nobody and no way has allowed us to gain entry to your ftp server.  We can't get on much less provide the pw or user name.  We ain't even getting there.

Have you tried downloading filezilla? That's what I've used for FTP.

I am 110% sure there is nothing wrong at all with my ftp server. I have never had any issues with it, and various clients use it as I do all the time. As I told you DO NOT use a web browser, use an ftp client.

OK John, I did get in and got the program got it loaded and it works great.  Only problem I saw was the little Trojan that came in with it, which was nixed/trapped/killed by my AV/Firewall...probably.  I mention this not to complain, but to advise you or the good folks over at we transfer that they should take every precaution on this.

Again, thank you, thank you.  I slept good last night after seeing this work.  So far, as the little Trojan was trapped at the gate (maybe) everything is like bluebirds and butterflies again.

Thanks John.

Please send me whatever info you have on the "trojan". I have had AV software incorrectly flag programs before, but if it is there I really want to know if it came from my PC (doubtful, I am very careful and have multiple levels of security, but could happen) or from wetransfer, which I use a lot to send data to clients.

One way to know would be to download from my ftp instead of wetransfer and see if that has the same problem.

I just scanned the files on my FTP and also downloaded from wetransfer and all are clean.?ÿ

What exactly do you mean by saying my files were infected? Since you couldn't figure out FTP (a pretty simple method to transfer files and data) I really don't put much stock in your statement that it had a trojan attached.?ÿ

I take computer security very seriously, so I really would like to know what the issue was.?ÿ

Virus Total (www.virustotal.com) says all three files are clean:

c
b
a

No worries here...

Thanks, Mark. I was pretty confident it had nothing. Nice to be reassured though
