I have a loaner R8 that I am trying to use as a rover for RTK. I cannot get the R8 with a TSC2 to connect to the TRIMMARK 3 radio. The base station radio freq is 440.xx at 19200 bps on channel 1.
I have an older R7 that is able to connect so I copied the R7 RTK survey style to create an R8 RTK survey style ensuring that frequencies, etc. match - excluding the R8 antenna.
It seems like the problem is with the internal radio on the R8, since it is missing the option to choose TRIMMARK 3 for the base radio.
So I am assuming that I have to use WinFlash to add the TRIMMARK 3 to the R8? I tried using WinFlash v1.x but didn't see an option to add the TRIMMARK 3 at 19200 rate. I still use the R7 and 5700s which are configured to talk to the base station so I prefer to avoid reconfiguring the base radio.
Also since this is a loaner R8 I don't have the WinFlash software that came with it so I am confused about which version??? of WinFlash to use??
Thanks.

Does the loaner R8 have a 440.xx radio? My R8/5800s have 450-470 mhz radios. Just a thought
Here are your optimal settings:
Base Radio: Trimmark 3 > Protocol: TT450s @ 9600
Rover Radio: Trimble Internal > Protocol: TT450s @ 9600
Base Options: CMRx (or CMR+, dependant on firmware)
Rover Options: Same
