Can I output a pseudo-NMEA string using Survey Pro 6.8 with a Trimble S5?

I'm doing a utility survey using a GPR cart and I'd like to do my grid scans using my S5 with the prism screwed onto the GPR cart. I normally use an R10 GNSS receiver, but it won't work with the tree canopy and tall buildings. I know people use their total stations like this all the time, I'm just wondering if it's possible with Survey Pro. The only NMEA related settings I have found is under the GNSS receiver profiles, nothing under Optical instruments.

If anyone can suggest some other software that can achieve this please let me know. I was hoping to stick with Survey Pro since it's what I've known for the past 15 years, but I'll switch if needed. I know it's possible with a Leica setup.

@jimcox any idea what version of Access it can be done in? I'm hoping I can find an older data collector so that I don't have to spend as much.

@kjac I know it is in the 2024 version which is the latest.

I suspect, but would have to check for sure, it is in 2017, which is the last version you can run on a TSC3
