I just got a used R10 and I'm using it on Survey Pro 6.6, It seems to work pretty great but I noticed that I still get float solutions where I thought the R10 did away with this, perhaps it's a Survey Pro issue? Also, does anyone know if the tilt compensation works with Survey Pro? I see the digital level bubble on the screen, but I don't know how to turn tilt compensation on or off or if it's even available.
I??m using R10??s with survey pro on a Ranger 7. ?ÿI still get float solutions, but only I poor areas, such as trees or building. ?ÿThe float vs. fixed solution has nothing to do with survey pro, it just the way GPS works. I??ve never messed with the tilt, I??d like to know if it works though. ?ÿ
With the newer versions of Trimble Access paired with an R10, the traditional float and fixed does not exist anymore. You have a solution and you have a real time read out of the quality of the solution. Basically, you will go to a float solution without having to wait for it to initialize.
