[Sticky] RPLS.com Forum Rules

We keep the rulebook short. RPLS has run on one rule since day one — be nice — and most of what follows is just spelling that out:

• Keep it respectful. Disagree all you like; don't make it personal.
• Post on topic and in the right forum, so the right people find your question.
• No spam or unsolicited self-promotion in the discussion forums (see the Advertising & Self-Promotion topic for where that belongs).
• Keep it professional and above board. This is a public, working community — no illegal, harmful, or dishonest content.
• Respect privacy and copyright. Don't post others' private information, or pass off someone else's work as your own.

Moderators may edit, move, or remove posts that cross the line, and repeat offenders can lose posting privileges — though it rarely comes to that.

We also run an opt-in Politics & Religion area for the spicier conversations; it stays out of the main forums unless you choose in.
