Next on the block is a slightly (and I mean slightly) used Pro XRX mapping grade receiver. It was purchased upon the completion of the Level 3 fiber build out in 2000. The project had picked up a boatload of them making Charly Trimble a happy man. I think this one was issued to an engineer that rarely got out of the office, let alone use this animal. Anyway, never passing up on an opportunity to purchase GPS gear, I picked it up for future use. I never really got into the GIS mapping game so it spent even more time on the shelf here at Orion. I did figure out how to use it for NAIP photography indexing. It spent a fair amount time in a Cessna zipping across the western US.
The offering includes the receiver (model 33302-50), the antenna (model 33580-50), a TSC1 data collector, the hard case, various soft cases and all the cables shown.
Lets start the bidding at $100. The auction will run through July 14, 2025 with the winner paying RPLS and covering shipping.
Good bidding.
The end is near, don't let this once in a lifetime opportunity to pass you by.
Not in the market but thanks for the trip down memory lane. I was involved in mapping about 300 miles of Bristol Bay MHW with one of those units back in the early 2000s with the antenna mounted to the exterior of a chopper. Seeing one of those units brings the memories flooding back. The most fun job I've ever had. Saw enough brown bears to last me a life time.
Just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get me.
