Just seeing if any of you lurkers and posters might have a Trimble Charger (part # 32595-00) for the old Brick (Cowbell) battery (5700 receiver) you could part with. Mine quit charging my battery. I found online and it is way too much. One on EBAY too. I could get a charger and adapt to connect the charger to the battery, but it would be nice to connect and charge through the lemo connection. Anyone? Numbers are good shown below to contact me or my email address in profile.

Not to offend, but have you eliminated the battery as the source of the problem? The OSM's for my 4000sse's act weird with failed batteries. The handle batteries are easy to open up and any Batteries Plus or similar store should be able to test the sealed lead acid battery inside.

Not offended at all. I originally thought it was the battery and have replaced it with a new battery. Luckily these batteries are small batteries you can get locally. First run on the battery I got 8 hours. Charged, next run was 4 hours. Charged and next use was less than an hour. I then suspected the charger and did testing. Charger only runs for 30 minutes then quits. That is why I think it is the charger. Used to run more than 30 mins to charge.

I put a new connector on the cowbell style battery and used a regular battery charger. It worked out great.
