I took this in trade from a fellow surveyor who needed locator help. It is a brand new in box GPS tripod. It has an adjustable center staff with positive stops at 2, 1.8 and 1.5 mtr. Absolutely new. If you use these in your practice this is a good deal for you. I'm into it about $500 and the best online price I see is $615 plus shipping. I will ship it to you insured priority mail for $500. If I get no takers today, I will look at offers tomorrow.
thank you

Thank You

That's kind of you to say. I hope you get years of good service from it. I had never used one before and I was impressed with the unit. I think it has a nice heft.

These tripods are expensive ! $500 for a tripod ? This is how much it cost me to build one piece of my gps receiver.

It must be worth it, with this tripod you do not need a tribrack so you save there but still, this is a lot of money...
Company I worked for was using these ones http://www.dutchhill.com/home.html but I do not remember how much are they
