I'm looking for a robotic back pack for my Topcon 8003A. If anybody has one to sell they can contact me at [email protected].

This top load backpack I use with my Topcon 9003 Robot works nice. I don't think you need a robot backpack at all. I trimmed the foam a very little to just let it slide in easier and tuck it in with a old flannel shirt on the top and it works great.

Save some money...

How tall is your instrument? The 8003 is 14 in and Im afraid it might be cramped in the back you suggested.

Thanks for your help.

Carry it in it's box, using ample and good binge cords, secure the box to a pack frame that comes with a folding bottom shelf or build one yourself. I prefer pack frames over packs. If I need a whole bunch of small stuff and the gun I will use a cargo pack with a built in pack frame, military surplus is where mine came from.

The 9003 is 14" also. Fits like a glove.
