I used the Socket CF card in a Carlson Mini data collector and the Blueport XP connected to a Leica 700 Auto total station?ÿ- Got about 100m - the weak link was probably the metal case of the Carlson Mini. I'm guessing in a Nomad or Allegro you would get farther.?ÿHave moved on to more modern equipment with long range connectivity built in.
The blueport XP is set up for a Leica connection, 19200 baud. As noted in the listing, if you need to change settings you might need?ÿto find a?ÿcomputer nerd to help...
