I was wondering if anyone has tried one of these, particularly in the SE United States.?ÿ I noticed they don't recieve the L2 band and wondered what kind of affect that has in our area.

No L2 means lots of things. More time. Perhaps static only. (unless initilized properly) no "light woods work".

I vote no...

When such really good stuff is available, with L1 L2, and the whole schmeer.

Modern full featured gps is a bargain, at any price.

That was my thinking as well.?ÿ I picture it being as productive is the old L1/L2 receivers.?ÿ I was thinking of just using for Grid Ties, and thought it may work well for that, unfortunatelly there seems to be no feedback from anyone whos used it in the South East.
