Since there has been some interest in the ProMark receivers, I have 3 Locus receivers that I am not using. So for the 3 Ashtech Locus GPS Receivers with soft cases, 2 serial to infra-red downloads, 1 hard case that hold 2 of the receivers, two kinematic kits with HP 48 calculators with ashtech cards and a CD with an older version of Ashtech solutions to download the receivers, I would like $1800.

Thanks Ron

Sounds like a fair price. I am still using 6 of them, probably the best tool for what I do, but it does take the whole 6 to be productive. Batteries left in the units while setting on the shelf seems to be the biggest destroyer of unused units. If younger, I would be buying yours.

Are these receivers strictly L1, or are they dual frequency? Also don't they use 4-D cell batteries?

Strictly L1, they use 4 D cells or 4 C cells, can't mix them.

Thanks jud, I had pretty much the same setup with 3 Locus & kinematic around '99 or so. My first time with GPS. Always wanted to pick up a couple more, but moved to AZ instead to accept a gobment job. Sold everything.

But aren't the newer ones dual frequency? Or is that after they changed the names to ProMark or whatever they did.

Those things were great, but I need to be able to run OPUS and I think you need L1/L2?

I think you are right about needing two frequencies for that.

Brings back good old memories.

Good hard working units.

I sold mine to a buddy after getting my Hipers in 2005, but am pondering taking you up on your offer.
