Leica TCR 702 Auto For Sale

That was a great gun. I gave ours away, as you canƒ??t get parts for them anymore.

I'm tire kicking. I might make a call Monday to see if I can get these serviced locally. I'm new to this so I'm not sure if servicing also includes having to replace parts? Looks like a better deal compared to most the junk on Ebay. Other than the "too good to be true" stuff 😉 .

Bottom line, it's 20 years old and if any of the electronic boards inside go then you are probably done. Lack of parts and/or Leica won't fix it.

But it can certainly be serviced, meaning cleaned, lubricated, calibrated.

It is 2 second which is pretty tight.

And these guns were built to last.

All I know is it works perfectly now and agrees exactly with another much newer gun, side by side on a monitoring job I do every month.

But, yes, it's a bit of a risk.

My comment might not have helped either :-S. But I'm getting smarter by the day. I can say this however since I've been looking at used station prices non-stop for the last few days: It's a pretty good bargain. There is someone on ebay asking a lot more for a non-reflectorless model (or simply omitting that feature in their ads for whatever reason).

If the ad above is in fact your latest, and if any accessories are included, you should definitely add that to your ad.?ÿ

Note that if you think anything in either of my two replies might hurt your selling ability I'll gladly edit/remove anything. I think that my first comment about serviceability might be slightly misleading. Older Total Stations have value but they are also someone of a niche item, so a bit of patience might be all that's required ????ÿ
