I would contact one of Leica's HDS reps or one of their HDS dealers, both would likely have demo equipment to sell. The P40 is a current model, so finding a used package may be difficult, unless a company purchased for a specific project and no longer has a need for the gear.

Not just a current model but one that's only been out a year or so. Folks don't typically drop $150K on something and then sell it less than a year later. As said above your best bet is a dealer demo or rental unit.
