I have two Seco triple prisms (call them old style) consisting of the prism holder and three prisms with prism covers, they are in decent shape. One of the prisms has a bubble on the edge. Also padded prism bags, zipper is blowed out on one bag.

I'll take $75 plus shipping for the pair. Haven't used either in 12 years. Will send photos if you want, as I haven't figured out how to post them here.

With the range of newer total stations and the prevalence of GNSS, I doubt anyone uses triples very often. But they would make good semi-permanent reference points for construction. Do they have screw mounting or are they the cans that slip into holes in the holder frame?

I use my old triple prism assembly for my Base GPS.
Allows me to use as backsight for TS work.
They still have (limited) use - for me.

I'm embarrassed to say that I never thought of doing that.

I did that once when I had a Base w/2 Rovers running and a 2-man TS crew rolling through a National Cemetery. Of course at the time I thought I was the only one that had ever thought of that setup. Lol!

@Jim Frame I'm often embarrassed to say. When the lights come on, it's oh dear why didn't I think of that.

Actually like Nate, my GPS origins were Locus and that's when I started using them for such. They were occasionally dirt cheap on ebay and sometimes came with a decent Wild tribrach or at least a rotating adapter attached.
