None of the tripods listed have the more recent standard 3-1/2 x 8 threads.

I think that 3.5" tripod heads was all I ran for years.

There is a love relationship with a GOOD tripod. You entrust your inst to it. Crashing the inst was a huge sin, back in the day. You dying was ok, but NOT the gun!
There is also an adaptor, to install a 3.5" gun, onto 5/8"x11 threads, but it's been a while since I have seen them.
