You don't have to donate anything. Please keep whatever you make and use it for yourself and whatever you see fit. Wendell is getting ready to do the same thing with some of his survey stuff. This economy sucks so we gotta do what we gotta do to survive. Hang in there!!

PS: I GOT MY FIRST ZUCCHINI!!! He's huge!! I'll take pics soon. 🙂 Now I feel guilty about eating him. :-/

Congrats on your first zucchini! We have so many we don't know what to do with them all, you probably will soon too! I love zucchini.

Robert, thanks for the encouragement. I hope you are making out okay.

I am going to post my total station tomorrow. Ah, Ms. Mapmaker, I had to stop using it because too many confused me with Just Mapit and it got too annoying!

The 48's seem to sell pretty well on eBay even without software.

I don't know, but from all I can gather things are tough for most all over. I've had to do some things I'd rather not do outside surveying, but even in these worst of times a surveying commission still comes around every now and then. And I'm just a lowly boundary surveyor puke. I just hate to hear of folks selling off their gear.
But, everything like that comes down to an idividual's decision.

Don't get the wrong impression though, a little more info here.

I quit my job back in April and have not been seeking new employment. It took me this long to decide for certain that my career is going to change to something else, probably web design and computer IT.

I have had the total station for about 10 years, and have only been able to use it a few times when a crew was not available to stake perc tests for one of my projects.

I bought the equipment with the intention of getting my license and it never happened. I got it from my mentor whom I worked with many weekends during the years of 1987-1998.

Well, it didn't sell, I am actually relieved, I think I'll hold onto it for a while. Still hoping to sell the instrument though, I haven't used it for a while and would rather someone else could use it.

I'm confused. I see it HERE still available for another 22 hours unless you do something kill the listing.

The fact that there are no bids yet does not mean someone hasn't set up a bid in a sniping service to be entered to ebay in the last 10 seconds of the auction.
