Anybody have two chain repair kits which they would be willing to sell? I have need of two kits so I can repair two 100' Lufkin Nubian Hiway tapes that the surveying students at the University of Houston broke. The funny part is that they broke off the tail ends of the two chains (tapes). I guess the rell was too complicated for them.

I just hope some of y'all out there still have the kits.

Thanks,

JRC

Try this link http://www.ironhorseadv.com/images/cat.pdf

Then search for "tape repair kits".

Jack, which size do you need?

I think we have some 5/16" somewhere.

I have several repair kits and could do almost anything needed. If you want to send the chains and cover return postage I'll fix them for free. Fixed many a chain in my younger days, and if I do say so, I do a good job.
