A friend of mine from when I was teaching at a regional university sent the faculty position notice to me in case I was interested.?ÿ I have to commend UM on requiring a professionally licensed individual AND making the position have potential for professional growth as a tenure track position.?ÿ I was a little disappointed to see only a preference for professional practice experience.?ÿ Unfortunately ABET backed off (about 10-20 years ago) of a stance of the necessity of professional practice for ET faculty.
Hopefully they can find an excellent candidate.
